Nursing profession has evolved dramatically since its inception. The diverse role of nurses in the modern world demands that they must be fully conversant with clinical competencies expertise along with management skills. Therefore, continuous professional development (CPD) is the need of the hour. Ongoing education is the corner stone for the enhancement of quality care. Being a progressing field of the patients. It is therefore, imperative that such innovations are regularly learnt, reviewed and updated. Nurses need to ensure commitment for humane and thoughtful application of resources to achieve quality patient care.
There is a grave national level deficiency of qualified nurses. Nursing profession of Pakistan has gradually evolved and developed in to a dynamic source of nursing practices by adopting latest advances with available resources.
